For my midterm, I wanted to do something separate from just showing animations on ground plane and I got an idea for wanting to use littleBits and have their information show up with a button.
Upon enough research, I thought it might be a good idea to use virtual buttons to activate any pop ups and/or animations.
I started out with identifying which bit.
I think we have a clear winner, the KeyBoard bit!
I know that upon a virtual button, I wanted the information to show up, but wouldn’t it be more fun if it was just animated?
I started out with having a cube rotate upon the most pointed/tracked area being covered by the hand, as if it was a button.
After that worked, I put on the keyboard information on my cube.
I spent a long time trying to instantiate the cube prefab but I think I was messing something up in my code.
Going to try this again over the weekend for sure!
